The Belated 4th

Matt and I left Thursday night at 9:00pm on our usual 5 hours trek to his parents' farm in Arkansas. After 2 monster drinks and lots of snoring on my end, we made it...3:30 a.m. Sarabeth was all about being awake at 3:30! She went back down for a little while and was up and at 'em at 6:30a.m.!

Matt's brothers Jake and Gabe were visiting with their families as well. It was all in the family for 3 days! The kids played and got really dirty and all I did was eat...seriously. Here are some pictures form the weekend.

Funny - there was a picture of Josie on the bike that you said was Julia! They are both very cute little girls, but don't you know your own niece?!! JK!! Love the pictures, except the one of me. You could have left that grungy picture out!! .

ok so I knew it was Josie once I looked a little closer but I was late for Matt's softball game and i didn't have time to fix it before I left. It's fixed now! Yes, I do know my niece :)

Enjoyed your slide show so much. I love what you gals do on your blogs. So creative.

It was a wonderful weekend with my children (you're one) and my grandbabies and the rest of the family.

Sometimes I just feel so sorry for everyone else in the world. Ha!

I was sitting in the brides room throwing up, literally. I was so nervous that I asked my brother in law to run across the street to the store and bring me back a bottle of wine! I can just see Jake trying to sneak a bottle of Sutter Home into the Baptist Church. My nerves never calmed and I walked wide-eyed all the way down the aisle shivering in my shoes. I had no idea what I was doing. I can't say I would have done things any different.
