One of my dearest friends is moving away. Her and her family have decided to take a leap of faith and follow God to a new city to minister to college age girls. I'm really sad even though I will still see her when she comes to town. Tonight we had a get together to wish them well. On the way home I started thinking of some of the fun things about Bonnie. Here we go.
We had just met and about 2 months later we decided we were going to get pregnant at the same time so our kids could grow up together.
We sat together in Financial Peace U and made fun of the teachers...(hope they aren't reading this)
I found out I was pregnant at her baby shower...so much for it happening at the same time
She tells it like it is. You never have to wonder what she's thinking.
She's a talented writer and hopefully one day I'll read her memoirs.
We miss you guys. Library Monday will never be the same again. :(

Back to Work
I've put it off as long as I could, and I did well! I came home from work about 1 month before I was due with Sarabeth, around October. Although I still had clients to take care of, I was not taking on any new business. Besides, the summer and early fall temperatures were brutal for a girl my size! Matt and I talked about me going back to work but deep down in my heart, I really wanted my job to just be taking care of my new little girl. Fast forward six months. I start back to work on Thursday! I milked it for a whole 6 months! I am going back to real estate. I never really left, just took a long break and considered other options but I believe the Lord had a better plan than I did. My new job is really my old job, just improved. I'll be able to work at home. I have the luxury of still waking up with Sarabeth and having breakfast with her and some play time before I take her to Susan's. I am so grateful to have someone I know and care for dearly to be watching my child while I'm at work. Susan is only about 10 minutes away and on slow days at work, I can just keep Sarabeth home and enjoy her. It's all working out beautifully. It's really a funny story because I did pray that if I HAD to go back to work then I wanted to be able to work from home, have flexible hours, and not have to put Sarabeth in daycare but find someone I knew to keep her. The Lord really did hear my heart. It couldn't have worked out better. We will still be able to enjoy occasional lunches with the girls in my Sunday School class, play dates and story time at the library. I'm so thankful for a God that knows my heart and has a better plan for me than I could ever have dreamed up myself.

I Wanna Pony!

This is Sarabeth's first horse ride. Nugget is actually a mini horse, not a pony. He gets very offended by that.
My dad has a horse ranch in central Florida where we spent last week. We had a blast and I enjoyed seeing my dad with Sarabeth. The trip was too short as always but we plan to go back at Christmas. I'll have more pics of the trip soon.

They Said Jesus on TV
Not only did they say Jesus, they SANG it! Not since Mandesa have I heard a christian song on American Idol. However I was blown away when they ALL sang "Shout to The Lord" as the closing song for the evening last night with a full choir. I was definitely impressed. Tonight they opened the show with the same song. Way to go FOX. By the way I LOVE Brooke White and David Cook. Tonight they were both "safe"!
Yes I'm an American Idol Junkie.
